  • Monthly Wrap Up: March 2020

    Monthly Wrap Up March

March definitely wasn't good for my mental health. I had more downs than ups, and the fact that my wages got dropped for the time being didn't improve things, that's for sure. It was also my blog anniversary month and it honestly didn't go as well as I hoped which by the end of the month left me totally unmotivated toward blogging.

To Be Continued... - The New Sound

10 weeks, 5 authors, 1 story. In To Be Continued... I asked 5 authors (self-published and traditionally published alike) to write a story together based on my prompts, without knowing about each other. They each had 2 weeks to write their part before I forwarded it to the next person to continue. Each part is somewhere between 500 - 1000 words long. So, are you ready to continue the story?

    Monthly Wrap Up

Summer is finally over and we are about to have a temperature drop and I'm sooooo ready for not boiling finally. August went away in a blink of an eye and I'm both sad and happy about it. I had some great times, but I also got damned behind on EVERYTHING. September will be about trying to catch up to myself.

The Imaginary Corpse by Tyler Hayes

The Imaginary Corpse is one of the most imaginative books I've read in a long time. As someone who is a sucker for stuffed animals and battles with anxiety this book really hit close to home. Tyler Hayes debut fantasy novel just ruined me in the best possible way, and not only jumped somewhere near the top of my "Favourite Books Ever" list, but also landed him on my auto-buy list.

    Interview

The name’s Tippy, formally Detective Tippy of the Stuffed Animal Detective Agency. I am, as you can see, a sunflower-yellow stuffed triceratops. I’m the best detective in Playtime Town and among the best in the Stillreal, and I used to be a pretty darn good imaginary friend before my creator decided to part ways with me. (It’s a long story.)

  • What’s to come? – September 2019

    September 3, 2019 /
    Sneak Peek

With September arriving the temperature dropped from 33 to 18 in a day - which I'm not complaining about, because fuck heat. Probably my brain will now will be able to process reading and stuff - once I finally get some normal rest, that is. As I've been lacking with a lot of things in August, September will be all about catching up and trying to squeeze in everything. I don't have much to look forward to this month, so no distraction.

    Sneak Peek

August is here! I really can't believe how much of the year went away already. Did some pushed the fast forward button? It can't be August already! Feels like it was last week I decided to (throw money out of the window) go to the WorldCon and I'll be heading there in less than two weeks! I'm pretty sure it must be some kind of wizardry.

June won't be any less exciting than May was, as things still keep happening. I finally started my new journey in life and I couldn't be happier. SPFBO5 is about to kick off as well and I'll be going to concerts too.
